The Bank of the Future
Make My Money Matter presents: The Bank of the Future.
Our banks are in a dangerous relationship with fossil fuel companies, and together they’re driving the climate crisis. But as customers and as citizens, we have the power to stop this - ensuring our money supports the industries tackling the climate crisis, not those fuelling the fire.
Join a panel of expert speakers as they discuss what the future would look like if big banks were to stop financing fossil fuel expansion – and instead support a greener, more equitable future for people and planet. In a world where so many of us are making decisions about everything - from the clothes we wear to the food we eat and how we travel with the climate in mind - how can we apply these same principles to our choice of bank?
After the panel, there will be a mixer and an opportunity to take part in Make My Money Matter's Valentine's Day campaign action telling banks don't bank on fossil fuel expansion!
